It's really cute and comfy. I'm usually a size small, I ordered a medium and the waist is slightly loose but not too much, the rest fits perfectly. I would say my true size of small would probably too snug other than the waistband, so medium was the right size for me. It sits just below my waist. I'm 5'2, 125lbs and its maxi length on me. It's not stretchy. I thought it looked ribbed but it's not, it's an actual pattern of pin/tiny stripes. Overall it's comfy enough to wear as an every day piece.
